Employment visas, Investor visas, Golden Visa, Family sponsorship, and Freelance
status, all processed by Connect Group. You tell us your situation. We tell you
exactly which visa applies and handle it end-to-end.
UAE immigration experience
Nationalities processed
Direct authority filing
Visas processed every year
Ten visa categories exist for ten different situations. Tell us yours, and we tell you exactly which one applies, what it costs and how long it takes.
Applying under the wrong category is the single biggest reason UAE visa applications get delayed or rejected. A 60-second conversation with our team replaces hours of forum research and outdated blog posts.
From a first job offer to a ten-year residency. We provide every category of visa.
Sponsored by your employer or a third-party provider like Connect Group through its Employer of Record service. Change jobs and you lose your existing visa; your new employer then sponsors a fresh one. By far the most common visa in the country.
You do not need an employer here; you need a trade licence and a genuine stake in the business. Your ownership, not a contract, is what keeps this valid.
10 years, no sponsor needed. Built for investors and exceptional talent, and recently opened up to nurses, educators, content creators and e-sports professionals who would never have qualified a few years ago.
No single employer, no problem. Built for people who work for themselves, especially common among consultants, designers and anyone in tech who answers to multiple clients.
This is how your spouse, children or dependants join you here. Their visa simply follows yours: same duration, same renewal cycle.
Officially the Virtual Working Programme. If your paycheck comes from outside the UAE but you want to live here, this lets you do both legally.
Hiring one person or fifty, the obligations are the same. The volume just makes errors more expensive.
We manage the complete sequence: entry permit, status change, medical test, Emirates ID application and labour card, so a signed offer becomes a working employee without gaps.
One shareholder gets an investor visa. Two or more shareholders get partner visas, with a maximum of two partner visas per licence. The first is issued immediately on company setup. The second can only be applied for after six months. We manage the timeline and file each one at the right stage.
Processing multiple visas at once depends on your available visa quota. If your quota covers the full headcount, we process in parallel. If it does not, we manage the quota increase alongside the applications. Companies that outsource their visas and employment to Connect Group can process larger volumes under our licence, removing the quota constraint on your side entirely.
Your trade licence sets a visa quota based on your office size and activity type. We check your current quota, tell you exactly how many visas remain, and handle quota increase applications when you need more.
Ongoing corporate support so renewals happen before expiry, not after. Visa cancellations on exit are handled with the same attention as a new application.
Eight stages, one team, start to finish.
Connect Group’s immigration team review every application against the current eligibility rules before
it is ever submitted.
You have the offer letter, but your employer isn’t set up to sponsor you in the UAE. Connect Group steps in as your legal sponsor through its Employer of Record service, handling your visa, onboarding, and compliance while you get to work.
You are planning to establish your company here. We handle everything from business license setup to investor visa processing, so you can focus on the business, not the paperwork.
Whether you are hiring one person or fifty, we manage your visa quota and run the processing around how your company is actually growing, not a fixed template.
You work for yourself, which means no employer is sponsoring you. We build your residency around your independence instead of working against it.
You want your family here with you. We explain the sponsorship rules, the income thresholds and the renewal timing upfront, so there are no surprises halfway through.
You bought property here expecting it to lead to residency. We make sure your application matches your actual ownership structure, so it actually does.
Five reasons account for nearly every rejection we have seen in nine years of filing.
The single most common error. We confirm eligibility before filing, not after a rejection arrives.
A missing stamp or an unattested certificate stops an otherwise perfect application cold. We check every document against the current requirement before submission.
Several categories carry a minimum salary or income requirement. We verify this fits before the application goes in, not after.
Unresolved fines or violations on record block new applications. We identify and resolve these first.
Mandatory insurance must be active before stamping. We arrange this in sequence, so it is never the thing holding up your visa.
Not every visa story is stressful. Here is what the good ones sound like.
“My wife and two kids needed visas before our move date. I was bracing for weeks of back and forth. It was filed, approved and done in under a week. I genuinely did not think that was possible.”
“I had read so many conflicting things online about which category I qualified for. Connect Group sorted that out in one call. Three weeks later, it was in my passport.”
“We needed everyone working on the same Monday. Every visa, every Emirates ID, landed on schedule. I did not expect that level of coordination.”
Straight answers about visa categories, timelines and what happens if something goes wrong.
Golden Visa lasts 10 years, Green Visa lasts 5 years. Both are self-sponsored, but Golden Visa targets investors, entrepreneurs and specialised talent, while Green Visa has lower thresholds built for skilled employees, freelancers and graduates.
Note that the Green Visa is no longer being processed in the UAE. If you were considering that route, Golden Visa is currently the only self-sponsored residency option available.
A UAE employment visa is typically processed by the GDRFA within 3 to 7 working days after the signed offer letter, medical test, and Emirates ID application are submitted. Most employees can start work within two weeks of signing the offer letter.
Yes. Property is one Golden Visa route, not the only one. You can also qualify through a business worth AED 500,000 or more, a salary of AED 30,000+ monthly in a priority sector, an outstanding academic record, or the 2025/26 categories covering nurses, educators, content creators and e-sports professionals.
Most UAE residence visa applications require:
The exact requirements vary by visa category. We confirm the required documents before submitting your application.
Standard residence visas can be invalidated after 6 months of continuous absence from the UAE. Golden Visa holders are exempt from this rule and can stay abroad longer without losing residency status. Check your specific visa category before planning an extended absence.
Yes, in many cases. UAE status change rules allow several transitions, such as moving from a visit visa to an employment visa, without leaving and re-entering the country. Eligibility depends on your current visa type, entry permit conditions and the category you are switching to.
The UAE Remote Work Visa, officially the Virtual Working Programme, is a 1-year visa for people employed by a company outside the UAE who want to live in the UAE while working remotely.
It requires proof of employment, a minimum salary and valid health insurance, and does not permit working for a UAE-based employer.
Yes, for almost every stage. Document submission, portal filing and status tracking are all handled by our team without you visiting an office. The one exception is the biometric appointment for Emirates ID and certain medical tests, which by law must be done in person.
The number of visas a UAE company can issue depends on its trade licence, specifically the office or facility size and business activity. Each licence carries a set quota, and once you reach it, you can apply for an increase, usually tied to a larger office space or a licence amendment.
